Lake Duluti Lodge

Lake Duluti Lodge is made up of 19 spacious contemporary African styled romantic chalets ideally positioned for maximum privacy and view inside a thirty acre active coffee farm located in a safe and exclusive area on the outskirts of Arusha. All chalets are positioned to face the coffee farm and each has a private deck with an amazing view of the ancient indigenous trees found in big number within the farm. The lodge has been designed in a way that you will feel like you are staying at home rather than at a top end hotel. Lake Duluti lodge prides itself on its finest cuisine, first class exclusivity, five star personalized excellent services, top class amenities and the ecofriendly architecture and operations.

We are characterized by our intimacy atmosphere and idiosyncratic style. We distinguish ourselves from other hotels by offering personalized attention and styled accommodation which play on a motif. We are neighboring Lake Duluti which our lodge name is derived from. If there’s a place at Lake Duluti Lodge, “Canoe there”. We are surrounded by active coffee farm where our in house coffee lovers enjoy the most. There is a local market nearby and enjoyable to visit and experience. Mount Meru is 45minutes drive away for trekking and other activities such as waterfalls, village tours.

Refreshing infinite pools in the lodge is suitable after a long enjoyable game drives or after amazing mountain climbing. The calmness of the surrounding make it unforgettable safari to Tanzania.

Our family has its roots in Tanzania. We are passionate about Arusha and love the region, the people and its spectacular natural environment. Almost 15 years ago, we decided to use our degrees from the business School of Management to combine the highest standards in hospitality industry with the personalization and warmth of a family owned and run business reflecting the beauty, culture, exoticism and the uniqueness our Arusha. We are not a chain and we have no formula and.. no, we do not have a fleet of lodges in other areas. We are here, in every sense of the word.

We did not choose our location by accident. We are located on a beautiful, peaceful semi forest on the feet of Mt. Meru, in Arusha region, which is the start and end point of every tour in North east of Tanzania. We are delighted that the most prestigious Travel website Trip Advisor approved of our choice!

From the moment we first opened the lodge, the city has been good to us. And we believe in returning the favor. We’ve done it by employing and training an entire generation of local people to the highest standards in hospitality, thus equipping them with a profession for life. We also provide classes in the English language for all our staff as well as a broad range of training courses in many other facets of international tourism. That this has resulted in our staff being ‘head-hunted’ by our competitors, we take as a compliment.
